Activities

At Maasser el Chouf, a lot of different activities are waiting for you. Apart from cultural tourism, the village is the ideal destination to practice ecotourism activities such as hiking, biking, snowshoeing, camping and other outdoor excursions.
As for activities specific to the St. Michael hostel and Beit el Hana, the auberge is equipped with a conference room that can accommodate up to 65 people for all kinds of businesses, groups and families. Many workshops are held throughout the year (annual business meetings, team building seminars, workshops, yoga, photography, assemblies of schools and universities, movement, scouts, etc.).. Also, children and adults can indulge in fun games such as ping pong, billiards, backgammon and basketball.
For those who like to wander the streets of the village, they can discover the old fashioned pleasures of an olive oil press, the Saint-Michael vineyard and church and the candle factory.

Jabalna festival
Every year in September, the Jabalna festival is organized to provide opportunities for small producers in the region to commercialize their homemade products. Fresh products await you such as the traditional dish Hrisse, sweets (cakes with orange, dates or coconut, etc.). From the moune cellar one can find natural herbs, olive oil, apple and raisin vinegar, rose water, arak, dairy products, traditional baked goods such as "manakish" with thyme, kechk and cheese.
Recreational activities are organized in order to revive traditional festivities. The Jabalna Festival is the spotlight event of the year and vividly captures the spirit of Massage el Chouf and the taste of this traditional village.
